From Stuck to Soaring: Your Voice (and your self) Unleashed
Hey there! I’m jess.
After getting two music degrees and working with trained singers all over the world, I’ve seen over and over again how singers have had their style, identity, autonomy, and confidence stripped away by well-meaning teachers and schools.
Too many of us worked on our voices, but lost our selves.
So after graduating, I started a journey that helped me figure out what was unique about me and how to put it into my own voice and style. I started my own band, created my own arrangements, and eventually wrote, produced, and recorded my own originals.
I love helping people find the voices, styles, and stages that honor them as a whole person. I’ve spent my teaching career developing methods that honor each singer’s unique voice and identity, and sometimes help them figure out who that even is. I’ve watched clients all over the world become whole, happy singers, and I’d love to help you do the same.
Why My Coaching is Different
My holistic approach honors you as a whole person, and is tailor-made for each singer.
Many singing coaches push towards a standardized sound, often steamrolling and corralling people into styles and careers that don’t honor their unique stories and identities.
I help you refine your unique sound through methods that honor your individuality. Your voice should echo your deepest self-expression.
And I help you find and create performance spaces where you can be yourself and shine your brightest, whether that’s your living room, your local open mic, a regional musical, or an international tour.
